Books

You’ve heard the fairy tale of Jack and the Beanstalk, but have you heard the true story of Hannah and the beanstalk? Sometimes fairy tales do come true—especially when you add unwavering confidence in God and His Word!

Stinky Owl has a problem—his favorite meal is skunk! Can you guess the rest? This illustrated book by author Melanie Burgess is a great read and introduces the birds in the aviary at Rocky Gap State Park.

Tradition holds that three wise men sought to find the King of the Jews, but The Servant King story opens with four. Make the journey with Zargon, the “fourth” wise man from Persia, as he journeys to find The Servant King.

What Will Become of Clay? tells the story of a lump of clay being shaped on the potter’s wheel and deciding he wants to be, not a cup, but a bowl instead. This is a story of grace, redemption, and love, as the potter helps lead him back to his true path.

Bible Lines is a Bible study book containing sixteen lessons. Each lesson is designed to help the reader understand the Bible passage, and also includes follow up questions. The lessons are best used in groups of two or more to facilitate discussion and interaction.

Tale of Tom Turtle is a story about a big-hearted Turtle who went against his natural instincts to help a fellow creature in distress. The making of a hero is doing the right thing at the right time when duty calls. This good Samaritan tale, delightfully depicted in rhyme and illustration, is certain to bring home a good life lesson.

To Be or Knot to Be is a humorous tale of two flamingos who face the dilemma of becoming tied into a knot. The story sends them on a quest through the habitats in the Florida Everglades and is filled with fun facts throughout!
